Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Bouquet of Hope

 

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop featuring the Bouquet of Hope February kit.  Our team has made all sorts of alternate projects to use your kit in fun and creative ways - we help you think of all sorts of design possibilities outside of your Paper Pumpkin box!

I designed 2 different cards using parts of the Bouquet of Hope kit.  This card uses the Merry Merlot card base.  I cut it apart and used the back half trimmed to 4 x 5 1/4" that is then embossed with our Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.

I stamped the bouquet in Memento Tuxedo Black.

These are the Stampin' Blends colors that I used for the bouquet.

I colored the image, and then trimmed around the image with my paper snips.

Here are the cards that are made as the Bouquet of Hope kit was intended.

This kit came with 3 card designs, 3 of each design, and coordinating envelopes!

Here is my next card design.

I used the front of the card base and cut it down into 1 x 5 1/4" strips.  This is on a Merry Merlot card stock card base.  The Basic White layer is embossed with the same Ornate Floral embossing folder.  I punched the Story Label punch on a scrap of Merry Merlot card stock, I cut it in half and framed it out to the left and right of the sentiment label.

The sequins are part of this month's kit and the black satin ribbon is from last month's kit and added a perfect touch for color coordination!

PPP Blog Hop A Box of Sunshine

Hello crafters!  Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop.  We are sharing alternate designs for the June Paper Pumpkin kit: A Box of Sunshine.

This is the stamp set in the Box of Sunshine  kit.

The kit components have all sorts of gorgeous gold foil elements and outlines. I personally LOVE the cards for this kit and will make them as designed and then use the box to fill with fun yellow treats.

I had so much fun creating my own card designs with the stamp set, Whisper White, Basic Black, and Mango Melody card stocks, with Mango Melody Stampin' Pad and Memento Tuxedo black ink pad. 

I used my Stamparatus for the "Sunshine" sentiment.  The hinge-step stamping technique is perfect for aligned, row by row images.

This was a fast and easy way to stamp the row of "Sunshine" words and then move onto the next step.  A Stamparatus is great for individual designs like this and of course for mass producing several identical cards.

This lined stamp was a fun way to make a designer layer of background paper.  And then I repeated the idea with the "You are loved" stamped all over the Mango Melody layer.

Stamping the Mango Melody sun images onto the Mango Melody card base made another fun background layer.  I could make dozens of cute cards with this stamp set!  Did you know that the Paper Pumpkin stamp sets are exclusively offered in the monthly kits?  Only subscribers have access to these unique stamp sets!

My Wonderful Family Alternates

I really enjoyed creating alternates of April's Paper Pumpkin "My Wonderful Family."  I was assigned to submit my designs to the Paper Pumpkin department live video in April.

I made a fancy fold card featuring our Nested Labels Dies.  I created cherry blossoms on my tree.

There are triangles at both ends of the single layer card base.  These hold the stamped tree layer in place. One end is glued together the top end is held closed with the ribbon.

Inside is a pink background layer and a greeting layer for a hand-written note.

Next I made card with only the kit supplies but I changed it up for a unique look. I used the branch die cut negative and sponged it into a tree.

  

I used the tiny butterfly stamp to create a trailing streamer effect in full ink and stamped off for an airy effect.

Every kit has a chipboard layer inside the shrink-wrap.  I used the full piece of chip board as my base for my door hanger.  A sheet of Whisper White card stock was cut and scored to wrap around the chip board.  Then I covered the back with another piece of Whisper White card stock to cover all the wrapped edges and create a clean look.

I stamped the tree image repeatedly into a circle to create a wreathe.  I also stamped multiple extra images that I layered beneath the circle to create more fullness.  You can see I used a Layered Circle die to cut out the center.  But I did fussy cut around the exterior of the stamped image.  I added some butterflies and pearls to step up my design.  The sentiment label and layers were from the kit.   I punched holes with my heavy duty crop-a-dile and threaded the Braided Burlap Twine into the holes to create the hanger and tied the ends into a bow in the front.  I did knot the back so that it doesn't slide around.

PPP Blog Hop I'll Bee Yours

Hello friends and welcome to the monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop.  My team and I made all sorts of alternate designs for the January "I'll Bee Yours" kit to inspire you!

Here are the intended designs from the kit: 

The Mint Macaron foil on the treat envelopes is gorgeous; I decided it would be a sweet card front layer.  I used a standard Mint Macaron 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base, with a 5 1/4" x 4" layer of Crushed Curry card stock.  I used my paper snips to slice along the plain side of the envelope.  Then cut along the bottom to open it flat.  My paper trimmer made nice straight cuts on each side to make a rectangle.  It made a lovely flower garden to host a little swarm of honeybees.

I used the flower stamps to make a Highland Heather background on these 3x3 cards from the kit.

I love the stamp set and bee die cuts from this kit - there are so many possibilities for making cards and packaging!
