Welcome to the "Blogging Friends" Blog Hop!

Who are the "Blogging Friends?"

We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met.  But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created for you!

I fell in love with the Rooted in Nature bundle as soon as I saw it.  I love the stamps, framelits, and the Nature's Poem designer series paper.  Rooted in Nature was my ideal choice for a Father's Day card and our new Itty Bitty Greetings made it easy.  This card emphasizes the Soft Suede in the tree.  The complementary colors really pop against the Soft Suede card base.

You can see the Linen Thread behind the Itty Bitty Father's Day sentiment.  It adds subtle texture and anchors the sentiment and the tree as the focal point.

I tried shifting the layout and placing it on the Grapefruit Grove card stock.  The tree now pops as the focal point with the brighter card base.

Today is a monthly private class for a group of friends.  They are so much fun to stamp with and I look forward to stamping with them!

They requested a Fathers' Day card so I was happy to pull this design together for them.  It is masculine and fun!
