IDEAS Blog Hop Mosaic Mood

Hello crafters!  I'm so excited to share our December IDEAS Blog Hop with you today. Our theme this month is: Getting Ready for the New Year.   My projects are based on the Mosaic Mood Speciality Designer Series Paper and Floral Essence stamp set. Our tutorial is full of amazing creative ideas!  This design is different from my card in the tutorial.  My actual tutorial designs are secret and exclusively shared in the tutorial.

Each tutorial designer features at least one card and one 3D project, some include multiple projects. Color Combo Blog Hop - Labels to Love

Hello friends! I am so honored to join the "Colour Combo Blog Hop" team today.  This is my first month to create with them.  I love a colour challenge and I think you will enjoy it too!  This team features Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world so, as needed, be sure to use your translate option in your browser.  Each blogger is required to use these colors for our stamping projects: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Gray Granite.

I thought Labels to Love would be a great selection to use the color challenge for a  festive New Year's card design.   I used our Stampin' Write Markers to color the Labels to Love sentiment stamp in Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.

The Swirls and Curls embossing folder reminds me of festive confetti streamers - perfect for a New Years theme!  I embellished with loops of the elegant Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon and our Basic Rhinestone Jewels that I coloured with the Rich Razzleberry Dark Stampin' Blends Marker.  Here is my ribbon trick: adhere SNAIL to the card stock label and press the ribbon onto the SNAIL.  Then adhere Dimensionals on the label beside the ribbon but not on the ribbon as it will not have a strong bond onto the velvet fiber surface.  I hope you have enjoyed my card design, my product details are at the end of this post.
