Service Projects for Mother's Day

Service Project #1 with Path Pregnancy Clinic

I really appreciate the Path Pregnancy Clinic invited me to partner with them for Mother's Day. Treasure Valley Path/Path Pregnancy Clinic exists to offer hope, provide care, and give confidence to those facing sexual health and pregnancy-related decisions so that no one walks alone.

This particular card design was made for a fundraiser. Donors who made a contribution in honor of their mother for Mother's Day.  Then this hand made card was sent to each of the mothers to acknowledge the gift made in their name.

This is one of the other designs that we considered, so many pretty papers and ribbons.

I enjoyed supporting this organization and knowing that many sweet mothers were receiving my cards.  I hand tied each bow and attached pearls with gratitude that I could donate my cards to this project to support mothers in crisis.

Service Project #2 Assisted Living Residents

My team loves service projects! We made and donated 220+ Mothers Day cards and Best HomeCare & Staffing delivered our cards with a carnation for each recipient at assisted living centers in Canyon County.

My team has the biggest hearts and are so generous to love on people in need.

Lots of love went into these cards, even the envelopes were decorated!

This is the FaceBook post from Best HomeCare & Staffing as they prepared our cards with the carnations that they included:

Cards from our team, I have talented and kind-hearted people on my team:

Aren't these cards lovely?

The buckets of carnations that were added to the cards - so pretty!

My team is so generous and eager to extend kindness to the assisted living residents that are often lonely.  I cannot say enough about my love and gratitude for my team and their desire to serve in our local community - they are the BEST crafters and friends!

Valentine Donation Project

Happy Valentine's Day to you!

Many team members and friends joined me for a gigantic challenge to provide hundreds of handmade Valentines to assisted-care center residents in our area.

The Valentines were  packaged with candy.

Boxes of Valentines.

Here are some of the donated Valentine cards, they are so cute!

And here are many more that we made as a group.  I even had help from my youngest daughter with card making.

This was a few of my helpers.

Every card had a hand-written greeting from a volunteer.

It was such a joy to join together on this project and bless around 700  people.  Card makers from Idaho City, Boise, Meridian, Star, Nampa, and Caldwell all worked together to spread love and cheer for Valentine's Day!  This type of service project is the best part of making and sharing cards.

Sale-a-bration is a spectacular time to join my Stampin' Up! family. I would love to have you as part of my team.

The Starter Kit during Sale-a-bration is the typical $99 for $125 of products you select, and it includes a bonus of 5 packs of Designer Series Paper from our coming Annual Catalog in May 2021.  This bonus of Designer Series Paper ends on February 28th.  I would love to chat with you if you would like a Starter Kit.  More information can be found here.

Serving Others, Shop from Home, Gift Cards, January

Last night was my second year to join a service project for Chrysalis.  Chrysalis provides a safe, loving Christian environment for women coming out of incarceration, addiction, and abuse.  My church gathers their wishlist for their children.  These are posted anonymously on our Impact Tree for people to commit to shop and provide those items.  Then we gather for a Christmas party to deliver the gifts, share dinner together, wrap the presents, make gift tags and wish them a Merry Christmas!

We arrived after a day of snowshowers.  It was a quintessential wintery scene for a Christmas party.

Gifts are stacked up and waiting.  Food arriving for dinner.

The team members waiting for the residents to arrive after their work day.

The ladies were so excited to open the bags and start wrapping gifts for the children in their lives.

I prepared elements for making gift tags.  I coordinated, stamped, cut, and punched so it was quick and easy for them to assemble the tags they selected.  They really enjoyed making the tags and it was fun to chat while they learned about tape runners and tying ribbon.

Here is a gift all tagged and read to be given!
My heart is full of admiration for these ladies as they work hard to make a new life with goals and dreams.  I am so grateful to have spent the evening with them.

Today is the last day to shop with Stampin' Up! and have your product order arrive in time for Christmas.  And we have so many great deals on close-out and even several current items are discounted due to excess stock.  So don't miss out shopping your favorite stamping tools and supplies.  Shop HERE.

Did you know that you can buy a gift certificate from me and they can order from out of state?!?  Stampin' Up! is great way to give creativity and the order goes to their door.

You can also purchase a gift subscription to Paper Pumpkin in various time-lengths.  And I will send you a printable gift card to present the subscription.

Mark your calendars NOW to join me in January!

Tags Donation

I was invited to provide a craft to make gift tags for a charity event at Chrysalis.  The ladies at this transitional home were provided gifts for their children via the Giving Tree at our church.

I cut and prepared the card stock, Designer Series Paper, ribbons, stamped and punched sentiments.

At this event we delivered the gifts for them to wrap for their loved ones.  Each lady was given a gift card for themselves and a gas card if appropriate.

We also brought yummy treats for our evening celebration.

These are the ladies working on making tags for their children.

The ladies were so all were so sweet and grateful!

These gals are part of the volunteer group from The Pursuit that put on this service project.

These are the 4 tags that I designed for them to make:

Here is a vintage design.

Another vintage design.

A traditional green and red design.

And a design with contemporary colors.

It was so fun to hear all the oohs and ahhs!  I am looking forward to going back next year.
