If you know me, I  L-O-V-E my cup or pot of tea!  So this bonus stamp set made me giddy to create.  Check out my cards below first is simple with Secret Sea and and Strawberry Slush ink, stamps and some designer series paper.

This is my stepped up design with more layers and details, I'll list my supplies at the end of my post. I pulled in Secret Sea and Petunia Pop Stampin' Pads with a card base of Shaded Spruce.

Kre8tors Blog Hop - Tea Together

Hello and welcome to the January Kre8tors Blog Hop!  This month's theme is Occasions/Sale-A-Bration Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Each participant must complete a line containing three squares on our Tic Tac Toe Challenge graphic.

I love a Tic Tac Toe challenge - it is so fun to pick which combo to use for my design.  My design started with the top left corner to go diagonally across the board: Sequins, Punch, Ribbon using the Tea Together stamp set and Tea Time framelits.  Our silver edged cards and envelopes are so elegant and match the silver mini sequins in my design.  I stamped a tea cup on the envelope flap.

The black and white Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper was the starting point for my tea pot.  I added a punched out Balmy Blue butterfly from a different sheet of the DSP.  It is placed on the tea pot.  The other butterflies are colored with a Stampin' Blends dark Balmy Blue marker and embellished with sequins.

I layered a strand of the silver mini sequins onto the Balmy Blue organdy ribbon.  The sentiment circles are adhered with dimensionals over the ribbon.  I placed half a doily as a "platter" beneath the tea pot. 

I die cut a tea pot in Balmy Blue card stock and adhered it under the butterfly DSP tea pot.  This created a nice shadow of Balmy Blue peeking out from under the black butterfly tea pot.
