IDEAS April 2025 Fun Folds

Hello friends and welcome to our April IDEAS blog hop for the "Fancy Folds" IDEAS Tutorial Bundle theme.  Our global team is from Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Canada, and United States.  We love sharing our designs each month and our April theme features clever ideas for various fancy fold concepts for card designs.

I'm sharing a very different alternate design with you.  We made this fun fold at my March Quick and Cute Card class with the Round We Go Bundle. 

This is a standard Z-Fold card design.  You can see it here top down view that the front flap is folded into a Z-shape.  I love this color combo and hope you are inspired by it!

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Change is Beautiful

Hello and welcome to our April Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop!  We are sharing all sorts of creative alternative designs for the Change is Beautiful kit from April 2022. Below are the card designs as intended by the kit instructions.

I had fun making 4 cards from 1 card base and mixing it up with additional card stock.

I used Thick Basic White, Granny Apple Green Shaded Spruce, Polished Pink, and Crushed Curry. 

This is the card base that I used.

It is scored at 2 3/4" intervals, so I cut it on the score lines and then cut 2 more pieces at 2 3/4" wide.

I loved creating card fronts that have such a fun and different emphasis.

As you can see, I got 4 full cards with my additional cardstock bases from the card base.

The Change is Beautiful kit has lovely card designs with clever folds. I hope you enjoy creating with it as is, or by changing it up with some of our ideas today.

Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Batter Up

 

Hello friends and welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop where each month we share alternate designs.  The May kit "Batter Up" is our feature for tonight's blog hop.  You can click on the video below to see the kit tutorial in action. So let's get playing with this all star themed card kit!

This kit is a home-run for amazing designs to celebrate the ALL-STARS in our lives.   So I took the exclusive Batter Up stamp set and created cards with a different theme.  My first card uses the Night of Navy ink spot from the kit with Night of Navy and Basic White card stock.  I used the Brick Embossing folder for both of my cards.

Here is a little tutorial for one way to use your Stamparatus!

I added some Pattern Party host designer series paper, Granny Apple Green card stock and Stampin' Pad for the Stamparatus.  The "friend" is stamped in Pumpkin Pie and has a nice pop of contrasting color.

I hope you enjoyed my alternate use for the Batter Up stamp set - it has so much versatility. I know you will use it a lot!

IDEAS Blog Hop Gorgeous Posies

Hello friends!  Welcome to the August IDEAS blog hop.  In our August Tutorial Bundle we are sharing cards with a floral theme in simple and stepped up designs.

I used the Gorgeous Posies stamp set for my tutorial designs.  I like to keep my design exclusive to the tutorial bundle customers. So I created an alternate design with the Gorgeous Posies stamp set to share on the blog with you.

Gorgeous Posies is our patented "DistINKtives" style stamps and creates photo-realistic images.  I stamped the flower image on my Flirty Flamingo background.  The flower centers became my background on the square layer.  And I used the simple stamping-off technique to create the ink variation for the sentiment.
