Closeout and Christmastime Is Here Cards Galore

Stampin’ Up!’s annual Year-End Closeout event kicks off on December 3, and this year—besides retiring and surplus items—everyone can also choose from a selection of 2019 Paper Pumpkin kits at 25% off; in addition, our beautiful Gift of Fall Add-On is being offered at 50% off. The Year-End Closeout event ends January 2, so mark your calendar and get ready to shop. Popular items will move fast!  It's easy to shop online, please use my host code: GKXXTRA on the cart page.

Our exclusive Christmastime Is Here Suite is still available while supplies last.  You can see it online here.   I have designed several cards with this suite for various recent events and classes.  So tonight I am sharing them with you!

This card uses the prints on the backside of the gold foil sides, the patterns are very different and look great together. All of the sentiments on my cards are from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

I really love this ribbon - I need gold ribbon all year!  The zigzag ribbon was my approach to incorporating a ribbon. I felt a bow would distract from the beauty of the roses.

Same approach but different placement to better enhance the layout in this image.

Our tufted embossing folder was a nice coordination with the elegance of the gold foil roses.

The regal gold foil tufted pattern in this background layer does not necessarily say Christmas to me, I think it would be great for a masculine card.  It does look amazing with the gold foil roses!

At first I had a hard time believing that Poppy Parade was in this color scheme, but it is and the coordination is perfect!

I hope you have enjoyed my card designs, and feel inspired and confident to create with this suite. Please leave me a comment with your favorite design!

Kreators Blog Hop - Beautiful Baubles

Hello friends!  I'm excited to design with the Kre8tors Blog Hop again.  This month our group is sharing all sorts of Christmas projects to inspire your December crafting with cheer and joy!

The Beautiful Baubles bundle is truly beautiful. This card has several elegant elements and was a simple process to make. I paired Merry Merlot, Very Vanilla and Gold for my card.  The Merry Merlot layer is embossed with the Subtle embossing folder.  Then the Very Vanilla layer is embossed with the Tufted embossing folder.

A Multipupose Adhesive Sheet was attached to the back of the Gold Foil sheet then the bauble was die cut from that Gold Foil Sheet in the Big Shot.  I traced the die onto the Merry Merlot card stock and then hand cut the outline with my Paper Snips.  The Gold Foil with adhesive backing is then attached onto the Merry Merlot bauble that you cut out.

The Metallic Pearls  and Gold Metallic-edged ribbon coordinate as Gold elements on the card.  You will love creating with this bundle.  My products for this card design are listed at the end of this post.  Please use the Feedblitz icon to the right and subscribe to my email list.

BFBH - Merry Christmas To All Bundle

Hello friends! I am excited to design with the Blogging Friends Blog Hop today.  My friends and I are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and we love to create new designs to inspire our readers.  Today we are sharing projects to help you Ring in the New Year.

The Gold Foil-edged cards and envelopes is my favorite product this month.  They are a fantastic card base and the gold is very elegant.  I paired the Merry Christmas to All bundle and Dashing Along designer series paper, with gold elements to create a celebratory theme for New Years.

I love to use the Multipurpose Adhesive sheets as a backing onto the Gold Foil paper.  The die cut "Holidays" word was so simple to cut, peel the protective paper off, then press the adhesive onto the card.   Voila!

It was really hard to see the layers in my first photo.  So here it is angled to see the scalloped oval Cherry Cobbler layer beneath the Whisper White oval sentiment.  The loops of Gold Mini Sequin trim is attached with SNAIL onto the back of the Cherry Cobbler oval.  Then I placed Dimensionals over the ends of the Sequin trim to hold it all securely.  My project supplies are listed at the end of this post.

I hope you enjoy the wonderful projects made by my friends.    We are excited to see you send cards to celebrate the New Year!  Please use the list below to visit each blog.
