In Colors 2015-2017, Catalog and Stamp Sneak Peek

Are you ready for fresh new colors and tools?  The new catalog is beautiful and has so many wonderful new stamp designs.  See all those pages I have flagged?  Lots of great products on my wish list for when orders open on June 2!  Let me know if you want a new catalog.

Each year we get a new set of "In" colors that are fresh and on trend in fashion and decor.  I used the new stamp set "You've Got This" to display the new colors and a few loved, older colors.  This is Watermelon Wonder with Tip Top Taupe.

Cucumber Crush and Tip Top Taupe.

Delightful Dijon layered with Tip Top Taupe and the flower stamped on Vellum.  Sadly I did not have success with glue dots under my vellum.

Mint Macaron pronounced ("ron" NOT "roon"  http://www.mrmacaron.com/history/).

And here is Tip Top Taupe with Very Vanilla.

But these, below, are my most favorite designs with the new stamp set.
Cucumber Crush paper and ribbon.

Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe.

Calypso Coral and Tip Top Taupe.

Tip Top Taupe and Very Vanilla with stunning pearls - LOVE this!

Melon Mambo, Crystal Effects and Tip Top Taupe.

Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe.

Mint Macaron paper and ribbon.  I used Memento black ink on Vellum.  I love this card design!

Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz.

I love using this as an interior sentiment.

Blackberry Bliss, Sahara Sand, Pear Pizazz are such an elegant combination.

The interior sentiment is stunning with the lace.

What do you think of the new In Colors and "You've Got This" stamp set?  Which card designs are your favorite?  I would love to send you a new catalog - just let me know!

Thank you for your comments and orders!

Painted Petals Watercolors

Watercolor effects are stunning with this Painted Petals stamp set.  They make a beautiful image but you can also use your Stampin' Spritzers to create an even more dreamy, mottled watercolor effect.

The lovely Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper is the perfect coordinating layer for designs with the stamps.

And this Spring Flowers embossing folder adds an elegant touch of texture.

Painted Petals stamp set is super simple to use in photopolymer.
Also available in clear or wood mount.

Spring Lilacs x5

Our team was challenged to make a card with these 5 colors: Wisteria Wonder, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry. Perfect Plum, and Elegant Eggplant.  Now, I typically work with 3 colors on a project so this boggled my mind!

was collecting lilacs from the yard this afternoon and admiring all the hues in the lilac bloom.  As I started looking at pieces I had on hand and embellishments that matched I started to get ideas.  Those lilacs were inspiring!  I sure hope you like my card.   I was so happy as I saw the colors meld and echo in various layers. What element is your favorite?

Please shop with me to purchase any of these products you need to make this card:

Floral Boxes

I made this design as a door prize for our team meeting in March.  It is my second version of a boxed floral project by Hélène Legrand.
.

The Gift Box Punch Board is the tool for success with this project.  The Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper works beautifully for this project, it is on the clearance rack so don't wait to get a pack.

These boxes are perfect for floral foam and flower arrangement.

This is an individual gift box floral arrangement.  It was a fun gift to surprise a friend.

I am writing a step-by-step tutorial for this project, $10.00.  Email me for purchase: janey(.)backer(@)gmail(.)com

Please leave a comment - I love to hear from you!
