Cards from the Creative Escape - potential of 29 card designs!

I cannot believe that it as only been 4 weeks since the Autumn 2022 Creative Escape closed.  I wanted to share some of the cards we made at the various classes offered during the weekend. There are 2 Make & Take sessions and an additional optional 4 add-on classes/events offered.  I hope you enjoy a peek at the massive creativity that happened at our Creative Escape!

The Saturday add-on class was Christmas cards featuring the Brightest Glow bundle.  This was such fun and after they completed their 8 card kits they had enough product to design an additional 12+ cards plus.

Saturdays' Make and Takes were all about the popular 2022-2024 In Colors.  This card featured our Sweet Sorbet color.

Parakeet Party is this matchbook fun fold card.

The Friday add-on class featured the Biggest Wish stamp set and these beautiful cards.

I love our Kraft note cards and envelopes with the Design a Daydream designer series paper.

They are fun and happy cards!

Here are some of the cards from the optional Stamping Bingo event on Friday evening.

Stamping Bingo featured the Celebrate Everything designer series paper.

So many fun, festive prints, and this is only half of the 6 cards we made during Stamping Bingo!  I used the Good Feeling stamp set for the card below.

The Hope & Peace stamp set was featured at the optional class Sunday afternoon. Participants had card kits to make 2 each of 5 designs plus lots of extra products to use at home.

ICS Blog Hop Tasteful Touches

Hello friends and welcome to our Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop!  Our December theme is Thankfully Yours to share cute thank you card designs for your after-Christmas thank you cards.  I use the Tasteful Touches stamp set and had so much fun designing for our theme.

My first Tasteful Touches card features Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Very Vanilla. The Gold Hoop is a focal point with the Embroidered ribbon.

I tied the ribbon to the Gold Hoop.

Then I anchored the ribbon ends with Tear and Tape on the backside of the Very Vanilla layer.

Here is a close up of the Elegant Faceted Gems and the Soft Suede Stitched Circle layer.  The sentiment is a 2" Circle Punch on Dimensionals.

The interior greeting has the "Thank you" from the Massive Thanks stamp set.

My next Tasteful Touches card features Soft Seafoam and Very Vanilla. I stamped the backgrounds with Soft Seafoam ink. I used the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder to emboss a Soft Seafoam card stock layer.

The gold cord and Embroidered Ribbon made a nice loops of textures.

I placed adhesive onto the back of the cardstock to hold the ribbon and cord as I arranged the loops.  Then I placed leftoever dimensional pieces onto the sentiment banners.

Here is the same stamped Thank you for the interior greeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my designs and my tips.  I really enjoyed creating with the Tasteful Touches stamps and I think you will love them too!

Thank You in Wood Textures

Hello stampers! I enjoy working on special orders and recently finished this project. Our Wood Texture designer series paper stack was ideal for this order of thank you cards.  I used several of our natural embellishments to complement the wood grain images.
I layered linen thread and our black metallic thread.  They both look great on the various wood styles.
The burlap ribbon is another natural fiber texture that goes well with the Wood Textures designer series paper.
Layering the Everyday Label Punch with complimentary card stock is another design element to set off the sentiment.
This is a beautifully rustic Wood Texture, it reminds me of old barns and reclaimed wood.
These will hopefully be a joy for the sender and the recipients!

One Big Meaning

I am loving this new stamp set in the annual catalog: One Big Meaning.

I took a doilie and used the lacey edges to make the scalloped edge under the sentiment.  The flower also has doilie edges as flower petals; isn't it fun to use doilies?!?   It was a fun evening to participate in my team's weekly card design challenge.

Here is everything you need to enable you to make this cheery card too!
