Valentine Team Swap - Accented Blooms

Back in November at Onstage, my team had a group swap of Valentine designs with Annual catalog products.  I enjoyed this challenge and creating my design.  I used Powder Pink card stock with the "Accented Blooms," and "P.S. You’re the Best" stamp sets. 

Crumb Cake Stampin’ Pad was used to stamp the sentiment and floral image. And Versamark was used for the heart from "P.S. You're the Best" that I stamped all over the background.

 I punched out the sentiment with the Tailored Tag punch.  The Pretty label punch was used to punch the vellum label layer. These are adhered together, and the Rose thread was looped and attached to the vellum.  

Adhere a piece of vellum to the top of the Powder Pink card stock layer.  Then I adhered one end of the ribbon to the back of that layer. There are two hearts die cut from our "Sunshine Wishes" thinlits, one is vellum and one is Powder Pink.  The ribbon is strung through the hearts so that they hang from the ribbon. The loose ribbon end is adhered on the back side of the Powder Pink card stock.

Wink of Stella is painted onto all of the flowers.  Then I assembled my card: Powder Pink layer is adhered to the Crumb Cake card base, the sentiment tags are then attached onto the card front with dimensionals.

In Color Card Designs

I had a blast with my customers at my In Color card class.  Each card was designed to featured one of the 2018-2020 In Colors.

The Grapefruit Grove card features florals from Wood Words.  It is a design I CASEd, but now I can't find the pin that inspired me.  Layering the Polka dot tulle ribbon with Baker's twine was my idea and it turned out so enchanting!

My Lovey Lipstick card features the very popular Accented Blooms stamp set.

Call Me Clover is a beautiful background with the Climbing Vines embossing. Such a fun and quick card design.

The Pineapple Punch card features the Bokeh Dots stamps on the tag and Sparkle embossing on the card front.

I love Blueberry Bushel and this made a great masculine birthday card.  The Oh My Stars embossing went great with this fun Garden Impressions DSP.

Color Challenge and Stamp Club

Hello stampers!  Do you participate in stamping challenges?  I love layout and color challenges.  These challenges really help me explore creativity beyond my typical ideas.  I designed this card for a recent color challenge.  It features our new Bokeh Dots stamp set with the Itty Bitty Greetings.  My product list is included at the end of this post.

I'm sharing a few cards from the challenge with you to help you see the diversity in color design.  April used the Stitched All Around bundle for her fabulous card.

Wendee used the Varied Vases bundle for her card - such a sweet showcase of the challenge colors.

Debbie selected the Accented Blooms stamp set for her design.   I love her inspiration to use grey for the leaves to stick with the color limits.
