Butterflies in Highland Heather

Hello friends!  Today feels like spring have bloomed in Boise and I love it!  The sky is bright blue and the sun is brilliantly bright, I really want to be outside!

I have three cheery and bright cards to share with you.  All feature the Butterfly Gala bundle and the Bontanical Buterfly designer series paper.   I am LOVING the new Story Label Punch, see it here.

The color pallet for my designs is the same with small embellishment changes.  The large butterfly is punched out from a sheet of black and white butterflies in the Botanical Butterfly DSP.

Each card features a different sentiment.  I used the Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blends and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to color the butterflies.

These four designs came from our recent classes and feature this bundle and the free Botanical Butterfly designer series paper that you earn with a $50 order.

The backside of each sheet is a black and white pattern,  I love the checks beside the colorful butterflies.

This was a fun chance to play with the versatility of neutrals, using our Wood Textures designer series paper for the card front.  I stamped the butterflies in Whisper White craft ink onto Crumb Cake card stock.

This returns to those fantastic black and white patterns.  I stamped in Memento tuxedo black ink onto shimmery white card stock.  Then we colored with the Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends and the Light Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends.

I love the whimsy of this card as it showcases the Dot-to-dot embossing folder on the Soft Seafoam card front.   The butterfly outlines are stamped in Tranquil Tide. The interiors are stamped in Soft Seafoam.  I love this color combo! There is a vellum label layered behind the sentiment Pretty label, it adds to the soft feel of this card.

IDEAS Blog Hop Butterfly Gala

ICS Blog Hop - Botanical Butterfly

Hello Stampers!  Tonight is our monthly first Wednesday Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop!  We are excited to share our new Sale-a-bration products that are available starting tomorrow, January 3, 2018.  Our Sale-a-bration products are free gifts of stamps, ribbon, dies, card kit, papers that you select for purchases of $50 or $100.

I confess that I am smitten with many, many, many, of the new products in our Sale-a-bration brochure and Occasions catalog.  The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper and Organdy Ribbon Combo pack are two Sale-a-bration must haves - and they coordinate with the Gingham Gala suite!

I love that the Botanical Butterfly DSP has black and white on the back side of each sheet.  This particular black and white design was an instant choice as I planned this card design.  The Butterly Duet Punch is super efficient since it coordinates with the stamp placement.  Each of the butterfly stamps have a large and small butterfly image.  Use these images in the punch and the placement is perfect to punch both butterflies at the same time.

Isn't this a fantastic innovation to improve ease and efficiency for stamping and punching?  You will really enjoy this set!  I stamped in each set of wings with these colors: Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, and Lemon Lime Twist. The Organdy Lemon Lime Twist ribbon made a lovely accent behind the large butterflies.  Do you notice the 3 small butterflies?  They are the exact size the as DSP print.  Aren't they subtle and yet lovely?
