Father's Day Creativity and Team Fun

Hello friends!  I'm so excited to share these 5 guy cards with you today for Father's Day in June as well as other occasions. I hope that these cards inspire your creativity with the Well Suited suite of products.

I love this color combo of Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, and Basic White.  Card #1 is simple and sophisticated.

 

 I am enjoying beautiful Maui during the Stampin' Up! Incentive trip and now a week with my family.  Thank you again for stamping with me and helping me reach my goals - my customers are the best!

At my April team meeting we made these amazing cards, the designs mostly came from my friend Ronda Wade.  My team had a blast making these cards and had so many compliments for them.  This is card #2, great for any occasion!  The Stamparatus makes stamping the two ties a breeze!

Card #3 is a great color combo of Pacific Point, Basic Black, and Basic White.  The Naturals Textures stamp set #155637 is a host exclusive to purchase with Stampin' Rewards from your host benefits. 

Our team meetings are so fun and full of creativity and friendships.  Cute designs are shared by everyone.  We have tiaras for top sales and team building.  Mardi Gras beads for monthly accomplishments.  Door prizes for everyone, but Wendee was a big winner!  We stamped outside on the deck so we had more space.  Carpenter jeans make great tool holders while stamping!

The interior layer has a cute bow tie.

Card #5 is a perfect option for a guy birthday and can be duplicated with any of the designs from the Well Suited designer series paper.  I hope these designs inspired you. There is a supply list at the end of this post. You will need to add any card stock or ink colors that you would want to coordinate with the Well Suited Designer Series Paper.

ICS Blog Hop - Magical Day

Welcome to our Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop.  The first Wednesday of each month we share our creativity to inspire your stamping imagination.  Our theme this month is "It's a Guy Thing" for Father's Day and birthday cards.  I choose the Myths and Magic suite to feature the wizard for my guy card.

 At first the wizard made me think of my husband.  Most grown-up guys appreciate the wise Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings triology - so this is suitable as a grown-up card. This Magical Day card could work great for a Father's Day card.  But it would also be great as a birthday card.

Here is a close up to see the glimmer paper, glimmer washi tape, and the shiny sparkle on the wizard's robe.

 I decided to make this birthday card, but is definitely could say "Happy Father's Day!"  I don't usually make the interior so spectacular but a magical wizard needs sparkle and shine!

 The Myths and Magic suite is charming for many people in your life.  Sadly, the designer series paper has sold out with retirement.  However the other products are still available while supplies last, so don't miss out!  The glimmer paper and glimmer washi tape is so pretty for layering.

Here is a trick for layering the banner.  I traced around the exterior shape of the banner so that I could cut along the pencil lines.  This made the perfect size for layering behind the white banner.

Occasions 2017 Swaps #19 and #20

Welcome to Team Swap Monday.  Today is the end of the Occasions 2017 card designs.   These two cards are made by Anita Young and Shalyn Luker.  They are both perfect for Father's Day, which is right around the corner.
