ICS Blog Hop Come To Gather

Hello crafty friends!  Welcome to our September Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop.  Tonight we are sharing projects based on the theme "Fabulous Fall" and I based my projects on the new Come to Gather Designer Series Paper in the 2019 Holiday catalog.

The colorful plaid inspired my design with the Painted Harvest stamp set.  I used several Stampin' Pad colors from this plaid.  My supplies are detailed at the end of this post.

I stamped the large sunflower in Mint Macaron and then the second layer in Pretty Peacock.  It is actually a fast flower to fussy cut.  Early Espresso has to be stamped-off once to create a lighter image color for the center.  I used Merry Merlot to stamp the seed image.

Who are the "Blogging Friends?"

We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met.  But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop. I love using our new colors with my loved stamp sets, such as Painted Harvest.  Mango Melody is such a vibrant option for an autumn palette - I had to try it with the Painted Harvest sunflowers. 

The Mango Melody is layered with Grapefruit Grove to get this stunning two-step stamping effect.  Pear Pizazz and Whisper White complete the color combination for this design.

I added leaves with stamping and our card stock with the Leaf Punch.  Our Linen Thread is a beautiful embellishment to add texture as a fiber and a shape of loops.

I hope that my sunflowers card will inspire you to stamp with the Painted Harvest stamp set.  The Leaf Punch is a must-have accessory for every season of paper crafting!

Painted Autumn

Welcome to stamping on Wednesday!  I enjoyed making my card designs for my Sunflower Friendship card class.  I am really enjoying this bundle!

I particularly wanted to use Daffodil Delight ink and this double stitched ribbon.  So that lead me to this sheet of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. 

The colors all flowed beautifully and I was delighted that Always Artichoke became the ideal card base.  I hope that  you like my design.  You can see my product list at the end of this post.
