ICS Blog Hop - Snowflake Showcase

Welcome to our Inspire, Create, & Share blog hop.  Our theme today is Christmas is Coming and we have wonderful projects to share with you!  

I'm excited to share another project featuring our Snowflake Showcase.  This is a lovely handmade project for your home and to gift to others.

 I decorated this LED candle with the stunning snowflake dies from the Snowfall thinlits and the Snow is Glistening stamp set.

I used our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on the back of the Red Glimmer Paper and the White Velvet Paper.  Then I cut out 2 of each snowflake sizes.  The adhesive holds the snowflake dies onto the candle. I placed one on each side of the candle.  The read glimmer paper is the larges snowflake.  Then I cut out the medium size snowflake of Velvet paper and layered them onto the red glimmer snowflake.  

The red ribbon wraps around the candle and is attached with glue dots.

I stamped the "Joy" sentiment onto the velvet paper.  Then I placed the snowflake die around the word and rolled it through the Big Shot.

I placed glue dots on each snowflake point and adhered it over the ribbon.

Snowflake Showcase Blog Hop

Hello stampers!  Welcome to our Snowflake Showcase Blog Hop.  You are going to see many fabulous designs as we introduce our exclusive new November products, Snowflake Showcase.

These products are so inspiring to create with, I really enjoyed making this design.  The Velvet paper is so soft and rich with texture.  

I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to attach to the back of the Velvet paper.  The Snowflake flourish and snowflake die cuts cut out beautifully in the Big Shot.  Using a small paint brush, I lightly painted Champagne Mist Shimmer paint on each snowflake point.  

I attached the flourish to the card front, the adhesive sheets keep the die cut perfectly attached without any extra sticky mess.  

The Paper Trimmer makes straight, easy cuts around the tree.  

I used our sharp and trusty paper snips to cut out the tree trunk.  I placed SNAIL onto the back of the tree.  The Silver Thread is swirled into circles and pressed into the SNAIL. Then I used Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the tree and trunk to the card front.

The 3 Velvet Snowflakes are placed onto the tree and the Silver Pearls were placed onto the centers of the Snowflakes.  The Snowflake trinket was anchored with a glue dot while a spot of liquid glue set-up to permanently hold the trinket weight in place.
