PPP Blog Hop Winter Woods

Hello crafty friends!  I am so excited to share with you this evening. Every month our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop team shares alternate design ideas for the current Paper Pumpkin kit.  The Winter Woods kit for October was designed to be standard size Christmas cards.

I used one card and envelope and created an ornament as my alternate project idea.  This is the front of the ornament.

This is the back of the ornament - since ornaments are visible from both sides...they need to be attractive on both sides!

I used the largest Stitched Nested Labels die to cut out the wood grain print interior of the envelope.  And then repeated around the image on the card front.

This is what it looks like after the die cutting.  I used the included Night of Navy ink spot and stamped the snow flurry around the trees.  Then I stamped the snowflake scattered around the woodgrain side.  And I stamped the "Winter Wishes" sentiment on the banner as designed.

Using my Night of Navy Stampin' Write marker I inked up just the "Merry Christmas" words of the stamp and stamped it on the white interior of the remaining card base.

Then I used the Classic Label Punch to punch out this sentiment.

Using Tear and Tape I adhered the front and back together.  I adhere the sentiments on the front and back with Mini dimensionals.  The Braided Linen Trim was looped through a 1/4" hole punch and knotted into a loop to hang on Christmas tree branches.

The styles and amounts of designs that you can get with nail stamping kits and extra stamping plates are similar designs to what you can get at your local salon, but without the wait and without the price tag. como fazer carimbo de unhas
