Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Pick of the Crop

Hello and welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop to see our alternative designs for June's Pick of the Crop card kit.  I'm so excited to see the ideas from our team and I think you will delighted with their creativity and inspiration!

This kit includes 3 card designs/3 of each, and a gift bag for 10 total projects.  These cards are so cute and a totally unique theme for Paper Pumpkin.
Check out the unboxing video for the June Pick of the Crop Paper Pumpkin, click on the video below to watch:

I grabbed the card base that looked like a picnic and stacked up the cheese and fruit die cuts on top of the picnic blanket.

It turned out so cute and easy!

Next I played with the stamps and my Basic White card stock to make my own card design.  Oh I love this large "Hello" sentiment stamp. Stamped with Calypso Coral it is a gorgeous layer!  The tag is another stamp from the kit.  This design is simple, fast, and stunning.
What do you think? I hope you will leave me a comment on this post!

The Trailer - Creating a Studio Part 3 of 3

Welcome to my project to renovate a vintage trailer into my stamping studio.  Today I am sharing how it is set up and functions.

Don't miss Part 1 or Part 2 if you are new to this series.

When you walk up the steps, you see the prep area which I'll describe at the end. This post and photos made me hustle to sort and store event supplies.

Looking down along the left hand wall is this view down to the window at the end.

Here is a breakdown of each area's functions.

Now that we are at the far end, we can turn around and look back over the space.  Yes it is fully in use but there is open floor area to prevent claustrophobia.  Due to the structure and frame of the trailer I can't hang anything upon the wall or from the ceiling. All furnishings have to be placed on the floor.

Be sure to zoom in on the photos to read each caption and description.

At this end of the trailer is the class/event prep zone for mass producing die cuts, card bases, ribbon, etc.  And it allows space for collating project kits. This table has two seats, if needed.

And the back table has one chair and currently holds bins with prepared projects for my team meeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and new stamping space.  My family is grateful that they have our house back as a home/family space. And I am extremely thrilled to have a dedicated space to work, focus, spread out projects, and then walk out the door and go home to the house.  I have been long contemplating a name for my trailer and I have found the word that describes how I feel: serenity.   Serenity is my new creative studio and the feeling I have when I am in my studio.

I would love to hear your thoughts, questions, and any tips you would like to share with me. Please use the comments box to share your input.  Thank you for reading this far through my vintage trailer project.  We are still working on the exterior, but that is another story and another month!

The Trailer - Creating a Studio, Part 2 of 3

Welcome back for Part 2 of my story about converting a vintage trailer into my stamping studio.  We hit a speed bump at Christmas time as hubby had shoulder surgery to repair his rotator cuff. I was eager to work but limited in skills and experience.  So I called up on my cousin Zane to see if he would step in to help me finish the project.  I'm grateful and blessed that he said yes.

His first goal was to get the trailer leveled so that the walls would be installed straight and level. This was fascinating and bizarre to see how the frame reacted to being put on blocks.  After much effort it was level, solid, and felt so much more stable inside.

Gretechen, my older daughter, helped Aaron before surgery.  And then he tried installing some wall board before realizing it was too much too soon.  The angles and saws required flexibility and dexterity that he no longer had with one arm in a sling.

He did get the lights installed before surgery and that was so exciting with the beautiful ceiling.  And this photo below on the right was the night he realized he could not push his recovery, so he was done.

Zane finished the beadboard on the walls.  He also milled and installed trim around all the window casings and the angles for the curved ends at the front and back of the trailer.  I primed and painted all of the trim and the baseboard moulding boards.

Zane boxed in the wheel wells so that space will be sturdy to hold shelving.  Those were also primed and painted.  I primed and painted so many layers and nooks and crannies, it felt endless!

I had selected vinyl plank flooring and that was installed last.  The space looked so pretty to have the interior all new, fresh, and bright.

Then I started moving in and it was a process of chaos and fun!

I am parked 5 feet from our natural gas meter so this little fireplace will run off of a connection to our natural gas.  The thermostat will keep my inks and supplies stable during the freezing winter season.  And I will be comfortably warm to work out here despite the weather.

Come back for Part 3 on Saturday, June 18.

ICS Blog Hop In Colors

Hello friends! Welcome to our Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. Tonight we are sharing projects to feature our gorgeous new 2022-2024 In Colors.  Sweet Sorbet at the top, then going right is Starry Sky, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis, and Parakeet Party are the colors below.

My projects are the Crackers and Treats Box using Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky. I loved the sentiment from Happiness Abounds, it is the perfect length for this adorable treat box.

This makes a great gift for graduation and nicely fits some cash ;-) The Starry Sky version below, I added dots from our Lovely and Lasting stamp set to complement the dot print on the designer paper.

Using the 2022-2024 Designer Series Paper gives a great contrast at the ends that you can see a peek at the other pattern design.

I hope you add the Crackers and Treat Box to your shopping list. You will have fun making these quick and easy boxes for your gifting needs.

My supplies are listed at the end of my post.  These colors are so pretty! I hope you enjoy our hop.  Use the arrow below to join me to hop over to Charmane's blog and In Color project:
