The Trailer - Creating a Studio Part 3 of 3

Welcome to my project to renovate a vintage trailer into my stamping studio.  Today I am sharing how it is set up and functions.

Don't miss Part 1 or Part 2 if you are new to this series.

When you walk up the steps, you see the prep area which I'll describe at the end. This post and photos made me hustle to sort and store event supplies.

Looking down along the left hand wall is this view down to the window at the end.

Here is a breakdown of each area's functions.

Now that we are at the far end, we can turn around and look back over the space.  Yes it is fully in use but there is open floor area to prevent claustrophobia.  Due to the structure and frame of the trailer I can't hang anything upon the wall or from the ceiling. All furnishings have to be placed on the floor.

Be sure to zoom in on the photos to read each caption and description.

At this end of the trailer is the class/event prep zone for mass producing die cuts, card bases, ribbon, etc.  And it allows space for collating project kits. This table has two seats, if needed.

And the back table has one chair and currently holds bins with prepared projects for my team meeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and new stamping space.  My family is grateful that they have our house back as a home/family space. And I am extremely thrilled to have a dedicated space to work, focus, spread out projects, and then walk out the door and go home to the house.  I have been long contemplating a name for my trailer and I have found the word that describes how I feel: serenity.   Serenity is my new creative studio and the feeling I have when I am in my studio.

I would love to hear your thoughts, questions, and any tips you would like to share with me. Please use the comments box to share your input.  Thank you for reading this far through my vintage trailer project.  We are still working on the exterior, but that is another story and another month!

Club and Ink Technique, Greek Isles, Studio

Hello stamper friends - we made it to Friday!  Woo-hoo time to relax into some creative stamp therapy.  We have a cold front blowing in tonight so being indoors with stamps, paper, and ink is cozy and comforting.

I taught I really fun and easy ink technique to my stamp club in August.  This is the technique card that we made.  We used the D size Clear Block to stamp half of the block surface into So Saffron, and then the other half into Pool Party.

I spritzed the inked surface 3-4 times with our Stampin' Spritzers.  Then stamped the inked surface onto our Thick Whisper White card stock.  It makes a fun mottled, blended colorway.

Here is Peekaboo Peach with Flirty Flamingo on our I sized Clear Block.   Supplies for this project are detailed at the end of this post.

To show more variety I used the new deep, dark Fresh Fig with Sweet Sugarplum and it is a stunning colorway!

Greek Isles

I have some news! I have set my mind to earn the 2019 Greek Isles trip with Stampin' Up!  October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2018 is the time period to work and earn this trip.  I know it will take a lot of grit and energy to reach these goals.  I hope that you will join me as I work to serve you and your friends through classes and events.

Stamp Studio

My stamp studio is immediatly when you enter our home.  So it sometimes gets cluttered and chaotic!  I was challenged to declutter, organize and streamline.  I am proud to say that my space is now in great shape and I want to show it to you!

My table is now a peaceful, tidy area.
Files are updated, purged and organized.  My drink is NOT on my stamping area but away from all paper crafts!
My supplies are accessible and stored in logical areas for use.   I have one rolling cart set for class time when I roll it into the sunroom.

PSST!  Guess what these are on my table?!?
First correct guess to post in the comments will get 4 hand stamped cards from me!
