Thoughts and Prayers

This "new-to-me" set has sat up-opened on my shelf during weeks of holiday stamping.  Isn't it a lovely tree?  The leaves are colored with markers to create that variegation of colors.  The Thoughts and Prayers set is simple, clean and beautiful.  It is a core set to own in a stamp collection.  I do not typically use a lot of autumn colors but this combination is rich, deep and soulful to comfort a bereaved friend.

Christmas Favorites: Dove of Peace

This Dove of Peace stamp is stunning embossed in gold.  I loved combining textures and glittery, shine on this design.  

The Blackberry Bliss and Very Vanilla cardstock layers create a bold contrast.  A stripe of Gold Glimmer paper with a stripe of Vellum add even more color and textural interest.

Silent Night Bliss

Silent Night is one of my very favorite Christmas carols. It is peaceful and contemplative which reflects what I love best about Christmas. I made these for a team color challenge and really enjoyed the effects of the sponging technique.  I loved combining these colors into these creations.

This is a more simplified version that I placed the sentiment in a soft, cloudy effect.
