Team Swap Monday - Trick or Tweet

Hello stampers and welcome back to our Team Swap Monday series! My stamping teammates and I create designs from our new catalog, we swap our cards, and then I love to share the inspiring designs with you each Monday.

Today's swap is designed by me. I used the Trick or Tweet stamp set from our Holiday catalog. I loved this set as soon as I saw it, the animals are so sweet!

The line art makes it easy and fun to color with our various tools: Watercolor Pencils, Stampin' Write Markers, Stampin' Blends alcohol markers, Blender Pens, and Aqua Painters. I used our Watercolor Pencils on my design.

This design from our Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper was fun to coordinate to the colors on my ghost and card layers. One of my favorite techniques for holding loops of Gold Metallic Thread, is tying it on the Black Solid Bakers Twine. The gold thread adds sparkle!

The hexagon embossing is a fun geometric shape for the card front, but be sure to always spritz your card stock when using these dynamic textured embossing folder. The supplies for my design are detailed at the end of this post.

2018 Holiday Catalog Peeks

2018 Holiday Catalog

I love this Holiday catalog and I think you do too!

The variety of themes is diverse, the colors are gorgeous, the designer series papers are stunning and fresh. The inspiration for creativity is strong in our 2018 Holiday catalog.

His Light

Today I am sharing a design I made with our His Light stamp set. This large font sentiment looks fantastic in ink or embossing. I loved creating a Copper theme with Blueberry Bushel and Very Vanilla! I made 16 of this design to share with team friends across the country.

Here is a close up of the details: the swirls and curls embossing, copper embossing, copper trim, pearls colored to match the copper embossing with the Dark Soft Suede Blends alcohol marker, rounded corners using the Detailed trio punch.

This lovely interior sentiment was a snap to stamp precisely in 16 cards with my Stamparatus!

ICS Blog Hop - Varied Vases and Punch

Welcome to our Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop! Each month on the first Wednesday we share creative designs to inspire your stamping delights. Our theme for September is "Passion for Punches" as we highlight Stampin' Up! punches in our projects.

My card design is featuring the Varied Vases bundle, the Vases Builder punch, and the Tailored Tag punch.

The scalloped edges are stamped on the Wood Textures designer series paper before attaching it to the card. Using the grid paper helped to line this up perfectly. I punched each vase with a different Wood Texture print using the Vases builder punch.

The Rich Razzleberry and Fresh Fig inks were stamped off one time before stamping onto the flower outlines. The softer hue of these colors was my preference for this design.

The Tailored Tag punch is easy to outline with a contrasting card stock color. I cut it down the center and then attached off-set to the top and bottom to create the outline.

I hope my design inspires you to add the Vases builder punch, Tailored Tag punch, and the Varied Vases stamp set to your creative projects. All of my project supplies are detailed at the end of my post.
