Embossing Extravaganza

On Monday I held a class on embossing.  I had a few people that wanted to get experience with the heat gun magic.  It is so fun to see my friends learn a  new skill and have fun with the WOW effect of heating up boring powder into a glossy, smooth finish.

Birthday Bash is a cheerful stamp set wishing any age a happy birthday.  Embossed in Calypso Coral and Clear Embossing Powder over Bermuda Bay.

This is the sweetest baby card from "One Tag Fits All" embossed and cut out on the Big Shot using the Starburst Circles.

This is the very popular "Sheltering Tree" stamp set in our Occasions catalog.  I love my card design because is has great sentimental value.

I spent a fabulous January-May 1995 semester in Washington D.C.  I still had to study, work my internship, and attend classes.  But I also worked hard to sight see and absorb all the rich history of our country.  One of my favorite days in D.C. was when my roommate and I rented bikes and spent the entire day riding around Georgetown and all over the Mall under massive, gorgeous canopies of cherry blossoms.  A card with cherry blossoms and a bike = sweet memories!

I really love this card from The Butterfly Basics stamp set!  The ferns are calming, the flowers are cheery and whimsical.  But the sentiment and shiny gold ribbon add elegance and flair to the cards style.  I also love that this can be used for any occasion!

I dressed up this card from above with a punched out butterfly in Elegant Eggplant.  Stamped it to add some texture and a bit more elegance with Pearls.

Thank you for enjoying my embossed cards, I had so much fun and joy creating these designs.

Please come shop with me and you are always welcome to join me for a class!
