Team Color Challenge

I love stamping with my team.  We have a lot of fun with our weekly stamp challenges.  Here is the color challenge that we used recently:

  

This is the card I made.  The layout was inspired by my friend Cathy Stephenson.  I loved her suggestions of stamping the ferns  and then embossing the brickwall.  It looks fabulous!  My supply list is provided at the end of this post.

What's On My Desk Today?

Welcome to Wednesday - it is hump day and the weekend is coming!  I wanted to show you what has been on my desk this past week.  I had fun making these pieces into a birthday card for my friend.  I think she will like it!  The "Butterfly Basics" stamps and coordinating framelits is one of my all-time favorite sets.

This arrived in my mailbox from my friend Suzie Barnes.  I love it soooo much that it has been perched on my desk to inspire creativity.

This sat on my desk waiting for the final touch.  I wanted to follow the sketch but wasn't sure what to use for the circle element.  Our "Merry Music" Designer Series Paper has so many fun designs.  Lots of black on white and then some sheets are white on black sheets.  I realized a circle with a snowflake and music staff made a great center piece element for this card it ties in the background music paper, the snowflake paper and the Christmas theme of red, green, and snowflakes.

Stamp Club and a Pearly Daisy card

I am excited to launch my first stamp club!  We start this Thursday and will continue until May.  Have you ever been in a stamp club?  Well it is fun and laughter with friends, creative projects, new products to play with, orders for new items for your stamping dreams, easy to arrive and leave with projects that you didn't spend time to design, shop for, cut, and prepare.

Class Design

Here is the card I designed for this week's card class.  The Delightful Daisy in Sweet Sugarplum is gorgeous on the brick wall embossing.

After looking at this design a few more days after class I realized that more pearls would be lovely!
