Kre8tors Blog Hop Comfort and Hope

Hello friends! Welcome to our Kre8tors Blog Hop, our theme is a Tropical Nights color challenge. I designed with the new Comfort and Hope stamp set in our Annual catalog.

The Comfort and Hope stamp set has the sweetest sentiments and a lot great background images.

I stamped the herringbone image on the Night of Navy layer. The hashmarks image is stamped on the Basic Grey layer plus some Rococo Rose stamped sequins.

I stamped the nest image with Rococo Rose, Night of Navy, and Basic Grey to symbolize multiple circles of hugs.

Kre8tors Blog Hop Memorable Mosaic

Hello crafters, this month's Kre8tor's Blog Hop theme is a color challenge! It's been a little bit since we've had a good challenge. Here is the theme background from our leader: "My inspiration for this month's theme is The Hood River Fruit Loop. It's a collection of farms in the Hood River Valley in Oregon, USA that offer fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other items straight off the farm. It's one of my favorite summer-time activities."

I selected these challenge colors for my design with the Memorable Mosaic stamp set: Grey Granite, Early Espresso, Petal Pink, Highland Heather, and Whisper White.

I really like the Subtle embossing folder and Flax ribbon with the textures in the font and willow tree.

I have a similar stamped image but changed up the layers in this card.

I used the Subtle embossing folder on the Highland Heather layer for this variation.

Ink.Stamp.Share Blog Hop - Another Wonderful Year

Welcome friends! Todays is the Ink.Stamp. Share. Blog Hop and December's theme is a New Year's color challenge. Our color challenge consists of the colors below:

I selected Another Wonderful Year stamp set for my design. This is in our Annual catalog. The sentiment "Celebrate Another Wonderful Year" is perfect for welcoming 2019! I wanted this to look really festive, especially with such lively colors.

I stamped the Celebrate in every color. I used the Night of Navy as my center piece. The other colors, I trimmed down the celebrate word and featured it all over the card front. You can see in this close-up that there are rhinestones on the sentiment and on several of the embossed stars from the "Oh My Stars" embossing folder.

I hope that my design inspires you with festive ideas for the New Year. I would love to see what you would make with this color challenge! Please share with me if you do design a project with these colors.

Color Combo Blog Hop - Labels to Love

Hello friends! I am so honored to join the "Colour Combo Blog Hop" team today. This is my first month to create with them. I love a colour challenge and I think you will enjoy it too! This team features Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world so, as needed, be sure to use your translate option in your browser. Each blogger is required to use these colors for our stamping projects: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Gray Granite.

I thought Labels to Love would be a great selection to use the color challenge for a festive New Year's card design. I used our Stampin' Write Markers to color the Labels to Love sentiment stamp in Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.

The Swirls and Curls embossing folder reminds me of festive confetti streamers - perfect for a New Years theme! I embellished with loops of the elegant Rich Razzleberry velvet ribbon and our Basic Rhinestone Jewels that I coloured with the Rich Razzleberry Dark Stampin' Blends Marker. Here is my ribbon trick: adhere SNAIL to the card stock label and press the ribbon onto the SNAIL. Then adhere Dimensionals on the label beside the ribbon but not on the ribbon as it will not have a strong bond onto the velvet fiber surface.
