Kre8tors Blog Hop Feels Like Frost

Hello friends and welcome to our Kre8tors Blog Hop featuring our Holiday theme.  I used our "Feels Like Frost" designer series paper for a post-Christmas winter thank you card.

 I used a 6 x 5 1/4" piece of Feels Like Frost DSP and cut it in half to 3 x 5 1/4" so I could use each piece to make 2 cards.  The silver foil snowflakes 1 x 5 1/4"  is the backside from another print from Feels Like Frost.

You can see how the pattern on my two cards is one print when placed close together in the photo below.

Perennial Essence Swap Design

Hello crafters!  One of my most favorite artists is Claude Monet.  The Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper is inspired by impressionism artists like Monet, so it was my pick for my first swap design.  I participated with a group of demonstrators that each make a unique design using products in our new Annual catalog, duplicate it 20 times, then we swap, and each have 20 unique designs with our new products to share!

I used our Nested Labels dies to make a stitched frame to feature the stunning Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.   The first card is Blackberry Bliss card stock layered on the Petal Pink card base. 

My second card was made at a class this summer and duplicates the design with new colors: it has Flirty Flamingo layered on a Soft Seafoam card base.   Each color combo compliments the florals in the DSP.

This is the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.  You can buy packs of this paper to use in so many projects!

The Nested Labels dies are a must have tool in your craft room!  I love how easy it was to make a stitched frame for my Floral Essence DSP!

Kre8tors Blog Hop Tea Time

Hello friends!  Welcome to the March Kre8tors Blog Hop.  Our theme is "Bye Bye Sale-a-bration" as we wind down March and our last few weeks to earn free gifts.  My project features the Tea Time framelits which are a Level 2 Sale-a-bration gift that is earned free with a $100 product order.  

The Tea Time framelits coordinate with the Tea Together stamp set.  I love tea pots, china cups and saucers and sharing a cuppa tea with a friend.  The Tea Together stamps were among one of my first picks to purchase for my Occasions catalog order and of course I chose the Tea Time framelits as my free gift!

I used Stampin' Blends to color the roses in layers of Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo with shading in Light Lovely Lipstick.  I did cut apart the large rose and leaves to arrange them as I liked on the tea pot.  I am so grateful that the Tea Time framelits include multiple dies for the rose buds and leaves so that I could cut several at one time.
