PPP Blog Hop Jolly Gingerbread

'

Hello and welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities  Blog Hop for the Jolly Gingerbread November kit.  Tonight we are sharing alternate design ideas for this adorable Gingerbread theme of gift card holders as designed below.

My Jolly Gingerbread alternates uses full size cards and cut one of the gift card holders in half.

I used the Evergreen embossing folder on my Shaded Spruce card stock layer. My gingerbread house needed forest!

I cut Whisper White card stock, 2 pieces of 1/2" x 2 1/2" and scored it down the center.  I scored them and folded them. I adhered one side to the gingerbread house, with a row of mini dimensionals along the bottom.  Then I adhered the flaps to the card front to create a pocket with the gingerbread house.

Here you can see a gift card peeking out of the pocket.

Here you can see that the gift card nestles all the way into the pocket to be a secret.

This is the front portion of the gift card holder and is has a Mint Macaron forest with the Evergreen embossing folder.

I applied clear Wink of Stella all over my forest.  Then I adhered the house and sentiment tag.

Inside I adhered the envelope as my gift card holder.

I got two full size gift card holders from my little gingerbread house card and envelope.  I hope you like my ideas!

I love both of these cards. As I have 37 grandchildren I need a way to stretch my kit.
Did you mean 1 1/2" for the White CS? Just checking, Your card looks like it has more. TFS!

It is 2.5 inches long as the side of the gingerbread house is about 3 inches tall. It is .5 inch wide and scored/folded at .25 inches in half. Hope that helps.
