I love to do color and layout challenges and stretch my creativity. I also wanted to make something out of the box with my Eastern Palace Suite of products. This past week's challenge was a big change from my typical style, and I really enjoyed finding a great fit for this design.
This is the card that I entered for the challenge among my team mates. I feel like there is a lot of great shapes, and colors in this design. Do you see how I echoed the circles from the corners with the circle around the sentiment? It is subtle and creates a nice relationship among the blocky layers and the circular theme of paper, loops of gold thread, and glitter enamel dots.
