IDEAS April 2025 Fun Folds

Hello friends and welcome to our April IDEAS blog hop for the "Fancy Folds" IDEAS Tutorial Bundle theme.  Our global team is from Australia, Europe, New Zealand, Canada, and United States.  We love sharing our designs each month and our April theme features clever ideas for various fancy fold concepts for card designs.

I'm sharing a very different alternate design with you.  We made this fun fold at my March Quick and Cute Card class with the Round We Go Bundle. 

This is a standard Z-Fold card design.  You can see it here top down view that the front flap is folded into a Z-shape.  I love this color combo and hope you are inspired by it!

My tutorial in the April bundle features the "Beside Me" stamp set and the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper with a fun fold card for Father's Day.   I hope you will get the April IDEAS Tutorial Bundle!

ICS Blog Hop - Join The Fold - Floral Phrases

Welcome to a special Inspire, Create, and Share blog hop! We recently attended OnStage in Salt Lake City with 2,700 demonstrators to see new products, hear training, and connect with friends. Our team met for dinner and to swap cards designed with fancy folds. Meeting together is the best and of course we want to share the fancy fold card designs with you!

Being a demonstrator means you meet people from all over the world, get to travel for events, we get the first peek at new products. I really enjoyed making this card.  It was my first time to make a Z fold design and it took a few trials and errors to get it right.  I used the Z fold design tutorial from Sue Vine.  My supplies are listed at the end of this post.

This design showcases many layers and angles.  So you need to be sure to think about the potential for designer series paper, embellishments, and of course stamping!
