2018-2020 In Colors Card

I wanted to share the last card design from my 2018-2020 In Color Card Class.  I shared five cards on Wednesday, one card for each In Color.

I made this design to incorporate all 5 colors on one card.  The Abstract Impressions stamp set is so fun!  It makes stamping so quick and easy.

We used the flower stamp to make the clouds and sun, as well as the flowers, of course!  The Pineapple Punch flower centers, muted the Lovely Lipstick flower color as the overlapped.  I enjoyed the challenge to make a design with all 5 In Colors.  The design is a perky, impressionist art style birthday card on our popular Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes.

ICS Blog Hop - Abstract Impressions Color Challenge

Welcome to our monthly Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop.  Today we are featuring designs that are based on this color challenge: Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo.

I used the Abstract Impressions bundle for my design.  The beautiful floral die cut inspired me to try piecing the colors together.  I cut out the entire die in each of the three card stock colors.  Then I used our Paper Snips to trim out the Flirty Flamingo and Blackberry Bliss flowers.  Using a moist Stampin' Sponge dipped into multipurpose glue, I dabbed the back of each cut out flower to adhere in the same space on the full die cut of Coastal Cabana card stock.  I used the same glue technique to adhere the finished floral die cut to the Ruffle embossed Very Vanilla card stock card front.

The Very Vanilla polka dot tulle ribbon adds an airy texture beneath the sentiment label.  I trimmed the top and bottom of the Very Vanilla label to layer it on the same Blackberry Bliss label.  Each of the Flirty Flamingo flowers is accented with Wink of Stella clear glitter.  The Pearl Basic Jewels add one more touch of elegance.  Don't they look stunning against the Ruffled embossing on the card front?

Team Swap Monday Abstract Impressions and Amazing 2018 Garage Sale

 I have to share are amazing 2018 Garage Sale with you!  But first I want to share one of the cards I designed for our team swap.  I really love this card and I hope you do too!

The Abstract Impressions bundle is utterly gorgeous.  I loved layering Very Vanilla and Whisper White with Crumb Cake for contrast.  The Springtime Impression floral thinlit is delicate and sophisticated with our new embossing mats.

 I am so glad that this set brings us a new butterfly thinlit - isn't it beautiful?  The Springtime Impressions butterfly die cuts very clean and easy.

I made a simple version to emphasize the beautiful floral spray in the Springtime Impressions thinlits.  The embossing mats are my new favorite to make subtle texture.  I know you will love this bundle and the embossing mats.  Please see my supply list at the end of this post.

Our 2018 Garage Sale was AMAZING!  

Our tables were packed with retired Stampin' Up! products, the weather was perfect, and so many friends came to shop with us.

Ribbons, bags, designer series paper and card stock.

They lined up 45 minutes before opening time - so much fun to see their energetic enthusiasm!  Stampers are the best kind of people.

We counted down and then they rushed in and filled every possible space to search and find many treasures.

Shoulder to shoulder, they shopped, laughed, searched and bought  until their bags and boxes were bulging.  We are so excited to see everyone for next year's Stampin' Up! retired products garage sale!
