PPP Blog Hop Winter Gifts

Hello friends and welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop featuring the November Winter Gifts kit!  Tonight we are sharing alternate ideas for your kit supplies and stamps.

The Winter Gifts kit makes 24 amazing gift tags as pictured below.  I really loved the tag designs and unique look of each design.  I wanted to find a, application for tags using them as designed, so I made a banner above. This is a cute home decor item that I can make several and gift to friends to use at home, on their desk at the office, or even at a care home where space is limited for decor.

Here is a further back look of it on my cabinet.

You will need about 60 inches of the Real Red ruched ribbon from our Holiday catalog.  I measured in about 12 inches and tied a knot onto the silver twine (left photo).  Then I measured over about 6 inches and tied on the next tag (center photo).  Repeat until you have all four tags attached to the length of ribbon.  You will have about a foot of ribbon on each end.  Tie a knot about 3-4 inches in from each end which you can use to hang with tack; or in my case, to tuck into a slot and the knot keeps it in place (right photo).

Here is a close up of the tag tied into the knotted ribbon banner.  I think I will make a banner for my grandma, it will look festive hanging from her shelf.

Next I couldn't resist the holly stamp as a card background, so I HAD to make a card!

For my card, I stamped the image in Shaded Spruce on the same card stock.  I used the tag hole punch outs in Real Red and I used my 1/8" hole punch with the negatives to acquire smaller Real Red punches (left photo).  Using liquid glue I adhered the holly berries into place, shown in photo below.

Three loops of silver twine were adhered onto the back of the sentiment and then dimensionals give the sentiment some "POP" onto the card front.  Oh! I also couldn't resist the "made with love" stamp and used it on the back of my card - now I can add my name below.

Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop Frights and Delights

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit and want  to share with you our enthusiasm for this box of fun and creativity. The beauty  of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the  kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a  starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing  lots of ideas with you on how to use the current Paper Pumpkin kit: Frights and Delights.

The Frights and Delights kit contains supplies to make 24 treat bags, perfect for Halloween treats for a classroom.

My alternate design is a home decor banner for your Halloween fun!  The only extra supply I added was Black Shimmer Ribbon as the base for the banner.

I cut the bottom seam off three of the cello bags. Then I cut each bag up the side seams.  This gave me 6 rectangle cello sheets.

I used SNAIL on the interior of the tag front and then pressed the cello rectangle onto the SNAIL.  Then a dimensional applied to the interior of the tag back creates a channel to slide the Black Shimmer Ribbon.
The Baker's Twine is tied around the tag and a bow is tied on the front.  The sticker words are adhered to the cello rectangles.

There are 2 bat pennants.

 2 ghost pennants.
 2 Jack o' lantern pennants.

There are still plenty of supplies to make more alternate designs,  banners, or of course treat bags!

Please hop over to see Anastasia's inspiring alternate design!  Click on the Pumpkin to see her blog.

Crafty in the Mountains

This is my first completed project from my crafty weekend in the mountains.  I used the Boo-tiful Paper Pumpkin kit  and turned the treat bags into a fun banner.

Each burlap treat bag holds a decorative letter to spell "CREATE" with a whimsical butterfly.
The Triple Banner Punch, in the new 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog, is super easy.

Lots of perkiness with Island Indigo combined with Daffodil Delight.  The butterfly, scallop and circle punches make this project a breeze!

Stripes or dots?  They look sweet combined and alternated!

CASE

Stampin' Up! loves to encourage CASE: copy and share everything!  So I had to share this morning.  Look at this lovely banner!!!  It is so simple, clean and beautiful.

What a gentle, inspiring project to ponder this morning while I start painting our front room, a whole different type of creativity!
