Hello friends and WELCOME to our monthly Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop to share alternate design ideas for our monthly subscription craft box.

The October Paper Pumpkin kit Joy to the World is planned for 2 designs and makes 4 cards for each design.  There is beautiful gold foil die cuts and printed die cuts.  This kit is extra special as it includes gold foil die cuts in English, French, and German so that it can be sent to share joy all around the world!

I took one of the card designs started with cutting the card base.

My first alternate design is an ornament.  I cut the card base in half.  Then I cut the card front in half to have 2 rectangles that I glued together to make an identical front and back.

I cut the white embossed piece also in half so that I could make a matching front and back.  Everything for this original card design was a good fit to make a front and back for the ornament.  I hole punched the top and added the twine as a tree hanger.

My next design idea was to use the back piece of the card base and decided to make gift tags.  The card base is a European card base size which is a bit bigger than our US A2 card base.  I cut it into quarters which made 4 nice rectangles.

I used the Just Jade ink to stamp the floral image randomly and pulled out my Cherry Cobbler ink to add the berries.

I also used some small scraps of Whisper White card stock to stamp the word "Joy" with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Pad. 

A hole punch and some loops of Linen Thread  for each tag was the final touch.  I'll write the to & from names on the back of the tag and be ready for attaching to a gift!  I hope you really enjoy this kit and all of the creativity that you can have with your Joy to the World kit!  Now join me to hop over to Cheryl's blog and her adorable project, click on the Pumpkin below:

PPP Blog Hop Winter Gifts

Hello friends and welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop featuring the November Winter Gifts kit!  Tonight we are sharing alternate ideas for your kit supplies and stamps.

The Winter Gifts kit makes 24 amazing gift tags as pictured below.  I really loved the tag designs and unique look of each design.  I wanted to find a, application for tags using them as designed, so I made a banner above. This is a cute home decor item that I can make several and gift to friends to use at home, on their desk at the office, or even at a care home where space is limited for decor.

Here is a further back look of it on my cabinet.

You will need about 60 inches of the Real Red ruched ribbon from our Holiday catalog.  I measured in about 12 inches and tied a knot onto the silver twine (left photo).  Then I measured over about 6 inches and tied on the next tag (center photo).  Repeat until you have all four tags attached to the length of ribbon.  You will have about a foot of ribbon on each end.  Tie a knot about 3-4 inches in from each end which you can use to hang with tack; or in my case, to tuck into a slot and the knot keeps it in place (right photo). 

Here is a close up of the tag tied into the knotted ribbon banner.  I think I will make a banner for my grandma, it will look festive hanging from her shelf.

Next I couldn't resist the holly stamp as a card background, so I HAD to make a card!

For my card, I stamped the image in Shaded Spruce on the same card stock.  I used the tag hole punch outs in Real Red and I used my 1/8" hole punch with the negatives to acquire smaller Real Red punches (left photo).  Using liquid glue I adhered the holly berries into place, shown in photo below.

Three loops of silver twine were adhered onto the back of the sentiment and then dimensionals give the sentiment some "POP" onto the card front.  Oh! I also couldn't resist the "made with love" stamp and used it on the back of my card - now I can add my name below.

Gift Tags Class 2018 - Christmas Around the World

Hello stampers!  I'm guessing that your home is hectic with Christmas fun this week.  And that maybe gift tags are in high demand as you package gifts to place under the tree???

I'm excited to share the projects we made at my gift tags class.  This class featured the "Christmas Around the World" designer series paper, all supplies are detailed at the end of this post.

This is a quick and easy design with the Triple banner punch and Everyday label punch.  Our "Oh, What Fun!" stamp set has many sentiments in fun fonts for tags.

The layering circles created an adorable ornament design.

Gold embossing and gold glimmer paper are a fun contrast to the jute twine.

Our foil snowflakes aren't just for cards.  Cut the snowflake in half and it looks great on a gift tag with stamped snowflakes.

The metallic foil doilies add just the right shine with our silver ribbons.

 A stylish tag dresses up every gift.  I hope you have enjoyed my gift tags and will have fun making tags for your gifts!
