2018 Favorite Projects

Hello friends!  I thought it would be fun to review my favorite stamping projects from each month in 2018.  I hope you enjoy them.  Here we go!

January was fun to explore design with our new Brusho powder colors and the Birthday Blooms stamp set.  See the post here.

In February I made dozens of cards with our Sweet Soiree Memories and More card pack.  See here for the post about this project.

March brought a special order for 4 dozen corporate Thank you cards.  Our Wood Textures designer series paper is stunning for a professional yet nature-based theme.  Here is the March post.

April is one of my most favorite cards all year featuring the "You've Got This" stamp set.  I love the combo of pink, gold embossing, and vellum.  You can see the card and post here.

May was a fun fancy fold to highlight our Coffee suite.  You can see more photos of angles and details in the post here.

June is a fun alternate design from our "Broadway Star" Paper Pumpkin kit.

I decorated a Mini-Pizza box and created 3x3 cards to fill it up.  Such a fun birthday kit to gift to friends. See the full post here.

July is another frilly feminine design using our Petal Promenade designer series paper and the One For All stamp set.  See the post here for this design from July.

August was a fun new technique to use the Lovely Floral texture embossing folder on watercolor paper and then color the image with our Watercolor pencils. This post can be seen here.

September was a fun design exploration with our 2018-2020 In-Colors!  See this post with all 5 cards here.

This Many Blessings card is my favorite October design and it is shared here in the post about designs for my stamp club.

My Waterfront sunset card from November is an easy favorite. I have never made a design with layers upon layers of stamped-off ink.  I was inspired by the Florida sunsets when my host challenged me to design a tropical card.  This design post can be seen here, as well as several other tropical projects.

Star of Light captivated my heart when it was first introduced and I was so happy to design with it again this year.  The gold foil edged cards and envelopes make an elegant foundation for designs.  You can see this December post here.

Well that was a fun journey through my stamping with you during 2018!  I really enjoyed sharing these projects with you.

ICS Blog Hop - Star of Light

Hello friends!  I am so excited for the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop tonight.  We have all sorts of wonderful Christmas card designs to share with you.  I hope you enjoy every blog creation!

My card features the Star of Light stamp set and Starlight framelits on our Gold Foil-Edged card and envelopes.  All of the stars on the card front are die cut from the green Joyous Noel Glimmer paper.  This card is elegant with sparkly elements!

I used the Mulitpurpose Adhesive Sheets on the back of the glimmer paper, card stock, and gold foil paper.

Then I die cut the stars from the green Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper.

The foil edged envelopes are so glamorous, stamping the back gives it perfect coordination!  Isn't this elegant?

I layered a Shaded Spruce card stock die cut star onto a Gold Foil paper die cut star and placed it on the interior of the card.

I love how the gold shines around all of the intricate shapes on the Shaded Spruce star.

The interior sentiment was stamped in Shaded Spruce and then punched out with the Tailored Tag punch.  I colored the edges with a Sponge Dauber tapped into my Shaded Spruce Stampin' Pad.  All of the products for my project are listed at the end of this post.

I hope this design inspires you to make a few more Christmas cards to send out this month!

Gift Tags Class 2018 - Christmas Around the World

Hello stampers!  I'm guessing that your home is hectic with Christmas fun this week.  And that maybe gift tags are in high demand as you package gifts to place under the tree???

I'm excited to share the projects we made at my gift tags class.  This class featured the "Christmas Around the World" designer series paper, all supplies are detailed at the end of this post.

This is a quick and easy design with the Triple banner punch and Everyday label punch.  Our "Oh, What Fun!" stamp set has many sentiments in fun fonts for tags.
The layering circles created an adorable ornament design.
Gold embossing and gold glimmer paper are a fun contrast to the jute twine.
Our foil snowflakes aren't just for cards.  Cut the snowflake in half and it looks great on a gift tag with stamped snowflakes.
The metallic foil doilies add just the right shine with our silver ribbons.
A stylish tag dresses up every gift.  I hope you have enjoyed my gift tags and will have fun making tags for your gifts!
