Share What You Love Designs

Hello Stampers!  I confess that I am smitten for the Share What You Leave suite.  The pearlized Designer Series Paper is gorgeous!  So here are a few cards that I made featuring the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper.

I used the Basket Weave embossing folder for the card front on my cards.  The Basket Weave is so suitable for florals!

This sentiment is from the Detailed with Love stamp set and punched with the Lovely Label punch.

Our Burlap Ribbon is a nice touch as a natural fiber with florals.

I hope you have enjoyed my cards - the florals and colors are gorgeous in this designer series paper!  You can see the Share What You Love suite here.  These products are sure to inspire your creativity.

Friday Stamping Fun with Brusho - Birthday Blooms

Hello stamping friends!

I am excited to share the outcome of the votes from social media on this design poll that I ran 2  weeks ago. Did you vote?  It was interesting to see that Instagram voters had a strong preference for #2 and that Facebook voters had a strong preference for #1.

#1 had 21 votes - winner!

#2 had 15 votes

#3 had 6 votes

I decided to go with the winner and improve it a bit.  The Brusho colors are so rich and captivating.  I realized that my card base would color coordinate better with Always Artichoke card stock.  I also opted to use the Scattered Sequins embossing folder (remember to spritz your card stock before using this type of  dynamic textured embossing folder).  The sentiment needed more umph - which was solved by a strip of Burlap Ribbon.

Here is the final version of my Brusho design on our Birthday Blooms stamp.  Isn't the flower gorgeous with the variations of Brusho colors?

This angled view shows more detail.  My project supplies are listed at the end of this post, so that you can make this design too!

Stampin' Up! makes tutorials for our products, you can watch this introduction to Brusho here below.  *Email subscribers will need to open this on my blog to access the video.

I love our Merry Music Designer Series Paper!  Of course sheet music paper is thematicly appropriate for stamping or singing "Deck the Halls."

The "Carols of Christmas" bundle is so versatile!  Burlap ribbon is very trendy and looks stunning with gold.  I used gold glimmer paper and the gold metallic thread.  Supplies are listed at the end and link you to my online store.
