Team Swap Monday - Rooted In Nature

Hello stampers and welcome back to our Team Swap Monday series!   My stamping teammates and I create designs from our new catalog, we swap our cards, and then I love to share the inspiring designs with you each Monday. 

Today's swaps are various designs from our Rooted in Nature bundle.

I made this card at our April OnStage event in Las Vegas.  It is a sample that Stampin' Up! provided for us to try out the Rooted in Nature suite.

Karen designed this card for our team swap.  I like her use of the tree stamped as a varied background texture.  It is so subtle and interesting.

June 2018 Blogging Friend Blog Hop Rooted in Nature

Welcome to the "Blogging Friends" Blog Hop!

Who are the "Blogging Friends?"

We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who have never met.  But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created for you!

I fell in love with the Rooted in Nature bundle as soon as I saw it.  I love the stamps, framelits, and the Nature's Poem designer series paper.  Rooted in Nature was my ideal choice for a Father's Day card and our new Itty Bitty Greetings made it easy.  This card emphasizes the Soft Suede in the tree.  The complementary colors really pop against the Soft Suede card base.

You can see the Linen Thread behind the Itty Bitty Father's Day sentiment.  It adds subtle texture and anchors the sentiment and the tree as the focal point.

I tried shifting the layout and placing it on the Grapefruit Grove card stock.  The tree now pops as the focal point with the brighter card base.

Wood Textures and a Tree

Hello stamping friends! September has such beautiful weather here in Idaho.  I especially love being outside during September and camping in our mountains.

This card reflects some mountain elements from our Rooted in Nature stamp set.  The Wood Textures designer series paper complements the leaf stamping and made a great background for the tree.

Our Tailored Tag punch is a great shape and size for this sentiment from Rooted in Nature.  I hope you like my simple design for this card.  Rooted in Nature has so much versatility - I think you will enjoy adding this bundle to your stamp collection!

Kre8tors Blog Hop Rooted In Nature

Hello crafty friends, welcome to our "Fall" theme Kre8tors Blog Hop!  I am excited to see all of the creativity that our team is sharing on this brisk Sunday morning. 

My project features the "Rooted in Nature" stamps and Nature's Roots dies on our Come to Gather designer series paper.

The sentiment is die cut with our Stitched Rectangles.  I love how these colors and textures came together in my design!  Pretty Peacock is stamped on Mint Macaron which is the opposite arrangement of the top layer designer paper.

 Our Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon is an amazing color match to the papers and ink - color matching is always perfect with Stampin' Up! products.  I hope this will inspire you to use your Rooted in Nature stamps and Nature's Roots dies with our new Holiday catalog products.
