Daffodil Afternoon Spotlight # 2

 We are counting down to the end of Sale-a-bration and we only have 2 days left, so let's check out 2 different looks for this Daffodil Afternoon designers series paper card sketch for Mother's Day!

I love this torn edge where the two prints meet. By changing the Designer Series Paper pattern, the ribbon (Just Jade and Gold Braided Ribbon), the color of ink (Just Jade), and the gem - you can get a look that is completely different yet equally beautiful.

MEASUREMENTS

Evening Evergreen Card Base 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼”

Cut Inside Very Vanilla 4” x 5 ¼”

Cut Layer 1 Very Vanilla 4” x 5 ¼”

Cut DSP 3 ¾” x 6”

Punch sentiment label in Very Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut Evening Evergreen Card Base at 8 ½” x 5 ½”, and score at 4 ¼” 

2. Cut Inside and Outside Layers, and adhere Very Vanilla Inside Layer only. Set Outside Layer aside. 

3. Cut DSP Layer. Tear around the 4” mark. Adhere coordinating pattern to the bottom of the Outside Layer, and the main pattern to the top of the Outside Layer. 

4. Wrap ribbon around this panel, leaving enough length to tie a bow. Adhere this panel to the card front. 

5. Stamp sentiment on punch.

6. Attach sentiment panel to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

7. Tie a nice bow to the left of the sentiment. 

8. Sprinkle on the gems.

9. Decorate the inside and the envelope!

10. BONUS TIP:  To decorate the envelope, use a 2 ¼” x 6” strip and adhere it to the back flap with glue. Cut around the envelope edge. Now your envelope has just an extra little pop!
