The Trailer - Creating a Studio Part 3 of 3

Welcome to my project to renovate a vintage trailer into my stamping studio.  Today I am sharing how it is set up and functions.

Don't miss Part 1 or Part 2 if you are new to this series.

When you walk up the steps, you see the prep area which I'll describe at the end. This post and photos made me hustle to sort and store event supplies.

Looking down along the left hand wall is this view down to the window at the end.

Here is a breakdown of each area's functions.

Now that we are at the far end, we can turn around and look back over the space.  Yes it is fully in use but there is open floor area to prevent claustrophobia.  Due to the structure and frame of the trailer I can't hang anything upon the wall or from the ceiling. All furnishings have to be placed on the floor.

Be sure to zoom in on the photos to read each caption and description.

At this end of the trailer is the class/event prep zone for mass producing die cuts, card bases, ribbon, etc.  And it allows space for collating project kits. This table has two seats, if needed.

And the back table has one chair and currently holds bins with prepared projects for my team meeting.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and new stamping space.  My family is grateful that they have our house back as a home/family space. And I am extremely thrilled to have a dedicated space to work, focus, spread out projects, and then walk out the door and go home to the house.  I have been long contemplating a name for my trailer and I have found the word that describes how I feel: serenity.   Serenity is my new creative studio and the feeling I have when I am in my studio.

I would love to hear your thoughts, questions, and any tips you would like to share with me. Please use the comments box to share your input.  Thank you for reading this far through my vintage trailer project.  We are still working on the exterior, but that is another story and another month!
